Nelson Romero is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Master of Science from Pace University. His clinical foundation includes years as a critical care RN at New York Presbyterian–Columbia University Medical Center, where he provided care in the Medical ICU and the Interventional Cardiology–Catheterization Lab.
Today, Nelson brings that depth of hospital-level experience to psychiatric care — working with children, adolescents, and adults at Mending Minds, delivering comprehensive assessments, medication management, and crisis intervention.
Advanced Education — MS Psychiatric-Mental Health NP (Pace University), BS Nursing (South University), BS Hospitality Management (FIU).
Critical Care Background — MICU and interventional cardiology experience at NYP–Columbia. BLS/ACLS certified, Home Health & Hospice certified.
Fully Credentialed — ANCC Board Certified, DEA Certified, Licensed NYS RN and PMHNP. Member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.
